How Not TO repeat the same mistakes in 2022?
Your best teacher is your last mistake -Ralph Nader
I’m sure many of us are guilty of this- we make a resolution for the new year, but by February, or worse, March, we’ve already fallen off track. We set these lofty goals for ourselves and by the time we realize that we’re not going to meet them, it’s too late. So how can we actually avoid repeating the same mistakes in 2022?
Every year, we make a vow to ourselves that this time will be different.
The question is: How will 2022 compare to 2021, and will we make the same mistakes that resulted in money, personally, and professionally next year?
There’s only one insurance policy to guarantee that you don’t.
This is the year of new beginnings and fresh starts. And yet, if your brain hasn’t been prepared for success ahead of time, you will undoubtedly repeat the previous year whether you like it or not because old mental patterns that have kept you bound to date will be re-activated.
Unless you choose to break the routines right now!
Fortunately, this is simple to accomplish, and it only takes as much time as 10 minutes each day!
You must also prepare your mind to reach your objectives for 2022 by constantly training it to do so, much like an athlete prepares his or her body for a race.
Manage stress with ease & grace -By this I mean that you will fail many times before succeeding.
You must know that it is entirely normal to feel frustrated, confused, disappointed and even angry when things don’t work out the way you thought they would. But if you cannot clearly identify what led to your failure, then guess what? You are destined to repeat it because your brain will do anything to keep you safe, even if that means sabotaging your success. Don’t let fear dictate how you should feel about trying something new. That is not courage; that is cowardice!
Destroy negative emotions before they take hold
It’s not going to be easy, but you don’t have a choice if you want things to change. You must wipe negative emotions off the map so that they cannot take hold of your mind and dictate how you behave!
Obliterate self-doubt that keeps you pinned to your past .
Unfortunately, many of us have been programmed from an early age to believe that we are not good enough. If you are not entirely clear on what it is you are meant to be doing with your life, then your uncertainty will manifest itself in non-attracting situations that will play into the hands of people who claim they know better than you do.
Visualize yourself actively achieving your goals
Do you ever find yourself with your mind wandering aimlessly? If so, it’s no wonder why you’re not reaching the goals that you set for yourself! Your brain is programmed to act this way because there is no clear vision of where you want to be in the future. Just like the athlete I mentioned before, you need to visualize yourself actively achieving your goals by “seeing”,
Mentally rehearsing strong new habits that keep you on track
The mind is very good at getting you to do what you have always done by conditioning your behavior, but it’s even better at preventing undesirable changes from being made. However, for this year to be different to the rest of your life, you need to take charge and break out of your comfort zone.
But you can’t just do it like that. It’s more than a technique for converting an idea into action: The mind wants to understand how old routines are going to be affected by the new ones, and if they’re going to shift at all or not. So what I’m saying is this; You need to practice living and breathing strong new otherwise
- You’ll give-up at the first hurdle
- Get distracted by social media
- Doubt that you deserve success
- Get paid less than what you’re worth
- Fall into unhealthy lifestyle habits
As the world of personal finance is changing, it’s important to keep up with new rules and regulations. One way I’m doing that is by reading financial blog post on retirement planning mistakes , about how people are making 2022 their target year for reaching financial goals like saving money or buying a home without considering what will happen if they can’t reach these goals before then. This is something I’ve been thinking about lately because my goal was 2022 . It sounds like common sense advice, but it never hurts to be reminded not to make the same mistake again!
