What if You Believe You are a Failure?
Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing – Denis Waitley
Every day, people wake up and try to find the strength to go on. They are faced with many decisions that will determine what their future holds. Some days they feel like a failure, but most of the time they don’t think about it at all. Sometimes we need help from others or just some encouragement so we can keep going and not give up completely. What if you believe you are a failure? This blog post is for you!
What if you feel already a failure, despite having had some outstanding victories in your life? This is a question that I have been struggling with for some time now.
What if the thoughts in your head tell you that there is no hope, and every time you fail at something, it confirms to yourself that this is who you are. Well I have some news for those of us who feel like failures. You are not alone! There have been many people before us who have felt the same way, but they didn’t give up.
It appears that everyone is obsessed with how to be successful, but what if you believe you have already failed? This was the position I found myself in not long ago. Despite having accomplished some wonderful things in my life, I still felt like a failure despite achieving some excellent results.
I identify with this sentiment. We all experience times when we don’t feel good enough, no matter what we’ve accomplished. But why is this the case? Why do we allow our failures to define us?

I think it has to do with our egos. We are constantly trying to prove ourselves to others to ourselves. We want to be seen as someone good enough, but deep down, we know that’s not true. Our egos are just trying to protect ourselves by keeping how we feel about ourselves hidden.

This is why it is so important to be aware of our egos and not let them control us. When we can step back and look at ourselves objectively, we can accept ourselves for who we are. This is the first step on the road to self-love and happiness.
But what if you could let go of your ego? What would happen then? Maybe instead of identifying yourself as someone who has failed, you would see yourself as the hero in your own life’s story. Instead of letting your past failures define you, you can use them as stepping stones for future success. The lows of your life wouldn’t define you; instead, they would serve as catalysts to help you reach more extraordinary highs.
This comes down to whether or not we choose to focus on our failures or our successes. Some people might choose to dwell on their past failures, while others will see them as learning experiences that have made them stronger.
Everyone’s definition of failure will be different. However, here are nine things you could do if you feel like a failure:
1. Talk to someone about your feelings. It can be beneficial to talk to someone who will listen and understand what you’re going through.
2. Write down your thoughts and feelings in a journal. This can also help explore your thoughts and feelings about failure.
3. Seek professional help. If you feel like you can’t manage your thoughts or emotions related to failure on your own, it might be helpful to see a therapist or counselor.

6. Spend time with positive people. Surround yourself with people who will make you feel good about yourself and support you in your endeavors.
7. Set goals and work towards them. Having dreams can help give your life purpose and direction, and working towards them can help boost your self-confidence.
8. Find something that brings you joy. Something that makes you happy can help distract you from negative thoughts about failure.
9. Remember that failure is not the end of the world. Remember that success is up to you and not determined by someone else’s opinion, no matter how hard things get.
I have been there. I have felt that way. You might be afraid to admit it, but you know what I am talking about. It’s the feeling of being a complete and utter failure before you even start something for fear that no matter how hard you try, nothing will go right and all your efforts will be in vain. The truth is, we are not failures until we give up on ourselves or others so don’t let self-doubt get the best of you!
It’s time to take a stand against yourself and say “I am stronger than this!”
We all have failures in life, but it doesn’t mean we are a failure. What if you’ve always thought of yourself as a “failure” and not someone who has failed? I bet that there are many things that you do well. You deserve happiness just like everyone else does. Don’t let one mistake define who you are today.
So if you are feeling like a failure, don’t worry. You are not alone. But don’t let your losses keep you down, either. Use them as a source of motivation to achieve more incredible things in life. And above all, remember that you are not your failures; you are the hero of your own story.
