Why Hard Work Is The Key, And Smart Work Is Overrated

I have always been of the opinion that hard work is what separates people from being successful or not. The old adage of ‘smart work’ being overrated has never really made sense to me, because without hard work there can be no smart work. It makes you wonder if it would just be easier to get a degree in something easy and coast through life doing nothing more than go-nowhere jobs? I don’t think so.

Successful people are successful because they put in the hours upon hours of hard, sweaty labor.

How hard you work and how smart you are don’t always go hand in hand. Your level of intelligence will often be the deciding factor on whether or not your hard work pays off. As a result, many people believe that if they’re not as smart as someone else then there’s no point in working just as hard because it won’t pay off for them. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth! If anything, our inability to find success is usually due to laziness rather than lack of intelligence. The key is to keep trying until we find something that works for us to achieve what we want without any resentment towards others who are more intelligent than us.

As a child, I was always that kid who had to try twice as hard to achieve the same results that everyone else was getting. For example, when I used to memorize multiplication tables, it took me twice as long, and once I had finally remembered them all, my friends would tell me they did so in one day. Throughout my school years, this would go on where things like science or math were considered difficult for me while some of my classmates breezed through them with ease. Even when studying for exams, the amount of time it took me compared to other students would vary significantly. These feelings carried over into adulthood, where every job application or interview felt like an examination that I was bound to fail no matter how hard I studied.

In my head, everything was always too difficult for me, and everyone else had the advantage because they were more intelligent than me.

Believe it or not, but being intelligent doesn’t necessarily make a person successful. Intelligence has nothing to do with success but instead opportunities and luck. It takes a lot of luck to be born into a wealthy family, while intelligence is needed to stay afloat when things get tough. A prime example of this would be the numerous stories you come across online about street children who became millionaires despite having little education under their belt. What separates one from the other isn’t intelligence but rather their dreams. If we strictly adhere to conventional wisdom, then there’s no way for us all to achieve success since we each have our definition of what it means to be successful. This is important to remember because not everyone is destined to be rich or famous. Everyone has their talents which determine their level of intelligence and contribute towards the opportunities they get in life. As long as you continue doing your best, working hard in whatever you’re passionate about, you’ll meet many others in different fields who are equally passionate about what they do.

I’m still learning that I need to stop comparing myself with other people since that’s not something anyone can control.

After all, each person has their strengths and weaknesses depending on what they want out of life. Rather than base my worth on someone else’s achievements, I should hold myself accountable for my own mistakes and accept that it’s normal for me to feel the way I sometimes do. Of course, it matters how smart someone else is compared to me but what counts is improving myself by working as hard as I can regardless of anything else.

If you’re looking to achieve something, be willing to risk everything and never give up because we all have our own unique set of skills. However, if you’re doing what you love, success won’t matter since passion makes ordinary things seem extraordinary!

So, what do you want?

I’ve learned that success is relative, so don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. There will always be someone more intelligent than us, yet no one knows if their dreams will come true at this point. If possible, try to take some risks because life isn’t about playing it safe. It’s best to learn how to lose rather than complain about all the times we couldn’t do something on our terms. Remember, not everyone has the same path in life, so keep putting your best foot forward no matter what while focusing on your goals.

If you had to choose, would you rather be the most intelligent person in the world or have control of time? Would you do anything to have either one? If possible, wouldn’t you give up all your money to get your dream job? For most people, their absolute dream is traveling anywhere in time, but they need a lot of courage.

Before I could tell my story about how it feels to be an ordinary person trying to make sense out of things that don’t easily fit into words, I had to learn that not everyone has the same set of priorities.

So if someone tells you that there are certain things you can’t accomplish because of where you live or because you’re not rich enough, but you believe otherwise, don’t let their words get to your head.

Forget about trying to please other people because that isn’t something anyone knows how to do, honestly. When someone asked me what my dream was, I realized that time wasn’t exactly what I wanted. If we’re unable to create our timelines , we’ll be forever at the mercy of others. Our time is limited, so if we want something, anything, it becomes essential to go after it without worrying too much about other people.

The key to success is not smart work, it’s hard work. So if you want to be successful, don’t go for the easy way out! Don’t think that all of your time should be spent on marketing and sales strategies. Remember that there will always be someone smarter than you in business or life, but no one can beat you when it comes to hard work. Your efforts are what matter most so put in as much time as possible towards building something great with determination and dedication over a long period of time – not just during short spurts of activity here and there. You deserve nothing less than greatness because every person deserves their shot at achieving true happiness through perseverance instead of luck alone!
